African Nations Championship (CHAN): TV channel, kick-off times and live streaming in the US

The African Nations Championship is not a second Africa Cup of Nations, and the difference comes down to one rule: only players who play in their own country's league can take part. An international playing in Europe, in North Africa or in the Gulf is not eligible. That changes everything you see. The national teams field the men their public follows every weekend, not the ones they watch on television, and the continental pecking order is reshuffled: countries without a large professional diaspora do as well as the more famous ones. For the viewer it is the best window there is on African soccer as it is played in Africa, with its own leagues and the players who live off them. The tournament runs over three weeks, in the early and late afternoon.
